Potassium chloride (KCl, or potassium salt) is a metal halide salt composed of potassium and chlorine. The majority of the potassium chloride produced is used for making fertilizer, called potash. K2O %-62.

Application

• Commonly referred to as KCL, our “treated” 98.8% Potassium Chloride is commonly used as an additive in drilling fluids for the oil and gas industry.
• It is considered an effective clay or shale stabilizer in water sensitive formations.
