Potassium carbonate is the primary component of potash and the more refined pearl ash or salts of tartar. Historically, pearl ash was created by baking potash in a kiln to remove impurities. K- 56.58%.

Application

• Potassium carbonate is widely used for the production of glass and soap. It is also used as a drying agent which is mild in nature. Many wine production processes involve the use of this compound as a buffering agent. Potassium carbonate is also used as a fire suppressant.
• K2CO3 is also known as potash carbonate and is used in fertilizers, agrochemicals, heat-resistant glass, soaps, and in the manufacturing of other chemical compounds.
